Video: How It’s Made – Books

Here we see one process employed to produce books, catalogues, brochures and magazines.

Unfortunately, gone are the days of the traditional printing presses and the labour intensive job of the book binder, these arts are slowly disappearing.

While the modern printing processes make books more affordable and accessible they have lost some of the ‘art’ attached to the book production processes of old.

In the video below we see how the printing process can be used for a range of printed items such as books, brochures and magazines.
