Answers (with a little bit of trivia):
- a) Pazuzu. This is the name of an ancient Mesopotamian demon that was also mentioned in The Exorcist novel by William Peter Blatty.
- a) Bates Motel. This is the name of the fictional motel that was inspired by a real-life murder case of Ed Gein, who also influenced other horror characters like Leatherface and Hannibal Lecter.
- b) 237. This is the room number that was changed from 217 in the novel by Stephen King, because the owners of the hotel where the film was shot did not want guests to avoid that room.
- a) Buffalo Bill. This is the nickname of the serial killer who skinned his female victims and tried to make a suit out of their flesh. His real name was Jame Gumb, and he was based on several real-life serial killers, including Ed Gein, Ted Bundy and Gary Heidnik.
- a) Annabelle. This is the name of the doll that was allegedly haunted by the spirit of a young girl named Annabelle Higgins, who died in a car accident. The doll was investigated by paranormal experts Ed and Lorraine Warren, who also inspired The Conjuring franchise.
