It’s time to check out the latest horror movie cinema releases for October 2023. Considering the month of October is the month of Halloween, there’s rather few horror movie releases of note this October.

6th October, 2023

The Exorcist: Believer

Horror

Stars: Ellen Burstyn, Jennifer Nettles, Ann Dowd

Sequel to the 1973 film about a 12-year-old girl who is possessed by a mysterious demonic entity, forcing her mother to seek the help of two priests to save her.


20th October, 2023

It Lives Inside

Drama/Horror/Thriller

Director: Bishal Dutta
Writers: Bishal Dutta, Ashish Mehta
Stars: Megan Suri, Neeru Bajwa, Mohana Krishnan

An Indian-American teenager struggling with her cultural identity has a falling out with her former best friend and, in the process, unwittingly releases a demonic entity that grows stronger by feeding on her loneliness.

Five Nights at Freddy’s

Mike Schmidt, a night guard at a local diner, becomes troubled after confronting the truth about the animatronic costumes that reside: they aren’t just robots. They are alive.

Will he be able to survive all five nights at this haunted diner? Or is something more sinister at play?
